I chose black leather and this harsh style to evoke the voices of those most affected by this pandemic and who’s we don't hear related in the mainstream media's confinement storytelling.
Despite what one might think at first glance, this mask was thought to be both comfortable and functional; its two layers synthetic fabric liner is washable and could be replaced by an HEPA filter.
The goal is not that it's wearer suffers nor to mimic a proper individual protection equipment in an anti-masker's spirit. It simply is to make a point while respecting the health and well-being of others.
